Visual Arts are an art form related to the creation of endeavors which are visual in nature, for example filmmaking, photography, painting etc. As far as the involvement of 3-D objects are concerned, the form of art is known as plastic arts. These mainly include the creation like sculpture and architecture.
But in some cases, the annotation of visual arts does not follow any particular rule or regulation. A lot of artistic definition, for example, culinary arts, textile arts, etc., include other aspects apart from just visual arts. So it is hard to give a definite exemplification!
At present, the term “visual arts” accommodates fine arts as well as crafts, but if we have as look at the ancient times, we will notice that this was not always the case. Some where near the 20th century, the term exemplified “ an individual working in fine arts (for example printmaking or photography) and not the handicraft, craft, or applied art disciplines. Some of the common forms of visual arts are: Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Photography, Filmmaking, Computer art, and Sculpture.
Visual Arts from Western World have given some of the remarkable mementos. For example, 'The Mona Lisa' is one of the most recognizable artistic paintings of the sphere.
